About the book
When I picked up this book, I didn’t know what to expect. What would conversations with God be like ?
It is a book for keep sake. It’s a book that you can go back to, during different phases of your life to answer the questions that plague you about life. Written in a rather modern and contemporary dialogue, this book feels fresh. It gets heavy in spurts, and there are places where you may need to re-read certain paras. But all in all, its a phenomenal explanation of life and the daily mundane questions that haunt us, and we would like God to answer once and for all.
The author sincerely claims that this book has happened to him. He literally swears that the pen in his hand just wrote, sometimes faster than he could write.
Who is it for ?
Everyone who is trying to find answers to the varied curve balls that life throws at us every now and then.
The 3 laws prescribed by God in this book are:
First law is that you can be, do and have what ever you can imagine Second law is that you attract what you fear Third law is love is all there is
The lessons that peak through literally each page are:
A. We are on this planet to fulfil our soul’s desire and not that of our body. Your body is simply and merely the tool of your soul. Your mind is the power that makes the body go, so what you have here is a power tool used in the creation of the soul is desire.
B. Nothing occurs in your life which is not first of thought. Thought are like magnets, drawing effects to you.
- How does God communicate:
God talks to everyone all the time, the question is not to whom does he talk but who listens. His common form of communication is through ‘feelings’. Feeling is the language of the soul. Hidden in your deepest feelings is your highest truth. The second form of communication is through ‘thought’ which may sometimes come by way of images. Another grand communicator is ‘experiences’. It is a phenomenal vehicle of communication. And finally when feelings and thoughts and experiences all fail, God uses words. Words are not God’s preferred mode of communication as they are prone to misinterpretation and most often misunderstood.
2. How do we know the difference between messages from God and other sources:
He says, “Mine is always your highest thought (which contains joy), your clearest words (which contain truth) and your grandest feeling (which you call love)
3. Should we listen to God, when what’s being said seems wrong:
Yes, we indeed must. Especially when it seems wrong. Obviously there is something you don’t understand. That which you do understand must seem right to you, because right is a term used to designate something with which you agree. What you have missed, will therefore appear at first to be wrong.
4. What is the right form of prayer:
The correct prayer is never a pair of supplication but the prayer of gratitude.
5. Why do prayers go unanswered:
A. Sponsoring thought is wrong: When it is said that a prayer has not been answered, what has in actuality happened is that the most fervently held thought, word or feeling has become operative- that’s called the ‘sponsoring thought’. Your sponsoring thought needs to be held by you in faith and with complete conviction. Your prayers are answered for your sponsoring thought and not for what your mind makes you say out loud.
B. Your sponsoring thought creates emotions: Emotion is the power which attracts. That which you feel strongly you will experience. Thought are also a derivative of emotions. Thoughts are pure energy. Every thought you have, ever had and ever will have, is creative. The energy of your thought never ever dies. It leaves your being and heads out into the universe, extending forever…
C. Fear is a form of emotion. Emotion is energy in motion. When you move energy, you create effect. If you move enough energy, you create matter.
D. All thoughts congeal: All thoughts meet other thoughts criss-crossing in an incredible maze of energy. ‘Like Energy’ attracts ‘Like energy’, forming clumps of energy of ‘like kind’ and then they stick to one another to form matter. Once energy becomes matter it remains matter for a very long time unless its construction is disrupted by an opposing or dissimilar form of energy.
6. Can we change our sponsoring thought?
Thought is the first level of creation. Next comes word. Next comes action. Action are words moving. Words are thoughts expressed. Quick hack to changing your sponsoring thought — Reverse the thought-word-action process. Do the action that you want to have the new thought about, then say the words that you want to have your new thought about. Do this often enough and you will train the mind to think a new way.
7. All the bad things that happened to us are things of our own choosing:
You are always in the process of creating every moment every minute every day .You are turning out a new manifestation as fast as you can think
8. In the moment of decision, fear wins more often than not over love, why is that?
Every human thought and every human action is based in either love or fear. There is no other human motivation and all other ideas are but derivatives of these two. These are simply different versions, different twists on the same theme….We have been taught to live in fear….You choose the action fear sponsors, for that is what you have been taught. Yet I teach you this, when you choose the action love sponsors, then will you do more than survive, then will you do more than win, then will you do more than succeed, then will you experience the full glory of ‘who you really are’ and ‘who you can be’ :
9. We have been raised to believe that good and bad exist; that right and wrong are opposed and that some things are not okay and not acceptable in the sight of God. Is that incorrect ?
Your ideas about right and wrong are just that — ideas. They are thoughts which form the shape and create the substance of ‘who you are’ and there would be only one reason to change any of these and only one purpose in making an alteration, if you are not happy with ‘who you are’.
10. What is the secret of a successful relationship:
Purpose of relationship is not to have another who might complete you but to have another with whom you might share your completeness. Relationships fail when you see them as life’s greatest opportunity to create and produce the experience of your highest conceptualisation of another….Let each person in a relationship worry not about the other but only about self. You have no obligation in a relationship, only opportunity. Marriage is a sacrament but not because of its sacred obligations. Rather because of its an unequalled opportunity. Never do anything in a relationship out of a sense of obligation. Do whatever you do, out of a sense of the glorious opportunity your relationship affords you to decide, and to be, who you really are.
